Parallel Workshops:
14h00-16h00 Key Stakeholders from government were invited to discuss how they feel South African Drug policy could be better informed, what directions it could take and how this would be practically possible. Civil Society and academics were asked to critically examine their role in drug policy and public health with a view to improving advocacy. Law Enforcement looked at the potential role they could play in improving public health without compromising operational goals Press There was a press conference and the launch of the Human Rights report Feedback and conclusion 16h15-17h30 A complete report will be available in the near future. |
